The mission of the Iowa Talented and Gifted Association (ITAG) is to meet the needs of talented and gifted children and programs through advocacy, education, and networking.  In support of the belief that gifted and talented children have the right to learn and grow without harm or prejudice, and that educational organizations have a responsibility to confront systemic and institutional racism, we denounce racial injustice and systemic racism of any kind.  We pledge to assist and support efforts addressing issues of institutional racism and racial injustice for talented and gifted students.
