Volunteer Services
At College Community School District, volunteers play a crucial role in the success of our educational programs, helping to bring our motto, “Success For All” to life. Many of our programs, events, and activities thrive because of the dedicated leadership and support from our volunteers.
Our Mission

Whether you assist in the classroom, library, or media centers, participate in field trips, support Parent-Teacher Organization events, or help with athletic and music events, your efforts are highly valued and appreciated by the School Board, administration, and staff.

Student Teachers
Volunteer Services at College Community School District oversees the placement of student teachers, practicum students, and those enrolled or employed at institutions with which we have a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU). Each year, the coordinator reviews placement requests, matches students with cooperating teachers, and handles the necessary documentation to facilitate these placements. They also try their best to honor special requests from both cooperating teachers and institutions in the spirit of maintaining positive and productive partnerships. We only want the best learning outcomes for aspiring educators and our Prairie Hawks!
For questions or more information on the placement process, please contact our Volunteer Coordinator.
