At College Community Schools, we believe that supporting the development of future educators is crucial for the continued advancement of quality education. We are dedicated to providing opportunities for student teachers to gain valuable experience and earn their teaching licenses, endorsements, and degrees. By hosting student teachers on our campus, we aim to contribute to their professional growth and ensure they are well-prepared for their future careers in education.
Placement Guidelines
- All placement requests must go through our District Volunteer Coordinator and Administrative Assistant for Community Relations. We can not honor any placement that is not made through this individual.
- Placements are based on availability, subject area expertise and grade level alignment
- Currently unable to accept: 4th grade, secondary Music, Art, Social Studies or English placements
Application Steps
- Submit placement request form HERE
- Complete volunteer application with background check HERE
- Select “academic/clinical hours volunteer” for expedited processing
What to Expect
- Review based on qualifications and availability
- Email updates throughout process
- Placement details provided upon acceptance
- Alternative options discussed if needed
Employees of College Community Schools needing a placement(s): Please work with HR, your Building Principal and the Volunteer Coordinator and Administrative Assistant for Community Relations to secure an on campus placement.
New institutional partners who would like to send us Student Teachers you should contact our District Volunteer Coordinator and Administrative Assistant for Community Relations to start the process to obtain an MOU.
