Special Education
College Community School District prides itself in the quality and continuum of special education programs offered throughout the district. The district tries to centralize the programs that are offered in most of the buildings. Each building within the district specializes in certain types of disabilities to better provide the needed services and supports of special needs students, both in the regular education and the special education setting. All Prairie Schools believe that it is very important that students are best educated in the least restrictive environment whenever possible.

Special Education Service Delivery Plan (DDSDP)
The Iowa Administrative Rules of Special Education require each school district to develop a plan for the delivery of special education services. Districts must make the plan available for public comment. The CCSD Team has completed the draft DDSDP, and the next step is to provide the public with the opportunity to submit comments.
If you have comments that you wish to be considered before this plan is finalized, please submit your comments using this form – DDSDP District Public Comment Form. All public comments will be open until June 10, 2024.
