Home Schooling
Home Schooling is an option of instruction available to all resident families. Homeschool is administered by the Iowa Department of Education and includes Competent Private Instruction and Independent Private Instruction. College Community Schools will provide interested parents/guardians with Iowa Department of Education Homeschool enrollment information upon request. Please access the Iowa Department of Education website or contact our District Office at 848-5202.
Competent Private Instruction Form A is required for all resident students who are 6 years old by September 15 and younger than 16 requesting instruction using a plan and course of study in a setting other than a public school district or accredited nonpublic school or requesting dual enrollment at College Community Schools.
A Home School Assistance Program (HSAP) is not available at College Community Schools. If you are interested in participating in a HSAP, you will need to open enroll out of our district and into a district offering this type of program.
