Proposal Due Dates
- Round #1: Fourth week of July–first Friday in October
- Round 1 is for teacher-driven proposals. The maximum use per teacher in Round 1 is 4 hours of work.
- Teacher-driven proposals require principal/cadre approval.
- Proposals submitted during the summer should allow two weeks for approval.
- All work must be completed by the first Friday in October.
- Teacher driven proposals submitted between the fourth week of July and the first Friday in October. Work must be completed by the first Friday in October. (Proposals submitted in the summer should allow for two weeks for approval.) Maximum use per teacher in round 1 is 4 hours of work.
- Round #2: Second week of October-first Friday in March
- Round 2 is for teacher-driven proposals. If funds are still available, teachers may request work beyond the 4-hour limit established in Round 1.
- Teacher-driven proposals require principal/cadre approval.
- All work must be completed by the second Thursday in June.
- Round #3: Second week of March-second Thursday in June
- Within the first two weeks of Round 3, Principal and building cadres will meet to determine how remaining funds will be allocated. Cadre-driven proposals may include professional learning materials, additional planning time, and teacher-driven proposals.
- Teacher-driven proposals require principal/cadre approval.
- All work must be completed by the second Thursday in June.
