Prairie Rise
Prairie Rise Alternative Program is considered a K-12 special school placement with a therapeutic approach, designed to serve ONLY students who are eligible to receive services in special education. These students will be referred to as “eligible individuals” for the remainder of this document. Facilities that serve both eligible individuals and students who are not eligible for special education services are not considered special schools for the purpose of meeting this requirement.
Prairie Rise serves K-12 resident district students who fall on the District Developed Service Delivery Plan continuum of services as needing a restrictive model for students with behavioral needs. Placement based on a data driven IEP team decision.
