The College Community School Improvement Advisory Committee (SIAC) gathered on Monday, April 27, at the District Training Center to review progress and look toward the future of the district.
During the session, members focused on three key objectives:
- Data Review: Analyzing K-4 achievement data in reading, math, and science through the lens of state indicators.
- Innovation Spotlight: Exploring new elementary initiatives, including Badge Books and the Future Ready Me specials course.
- Strategic Alignment: Connecting current outcomes to the priorities of the CCSD 10-Year Strategic Plan.
Meeting twice a year, SIAC serves as a bridge between the district and the community, offering vital perspectives on how the strategic plan is implemented and shared. “We are incredibly grateful for our SIAC members—some of whom have dedicated over a decade of service,” said Tracy Schipper, Executive Director of Elementary Programs. “Their feedback and recommendations are essential to our continuous improvement.
