Congratulations to Prairie High School student Marys Kapinga who was recognized at tonight’s School Board meeting. Marys was recognized for her leadership and being elected as President for the State of Iowa IJAG (Iowa Jobs for America’s Graduates). As President, Marys will represent over 8,200 iJAG students across Iowa, advocating for their needs and providing guidance.

They were recognized for their hard work in organizing and leading the Salute to Service Event honoring our military veterans and their families.

Congratulations to our 9th Grade Center students Kamora Beard, Lainey Kebu, Olivia Matondo, and Morgan Meredith who were recognized at tonight’s School Board meeting! The students were recognized for Winning the 9.2 3DE Case Challenge Supporting Mt. Mercy University. Over the course of 5 weeks, 3DE students effectively collaborated to help Mount Mercy University find a local non-profit to partner with to help them elevate the community.
