Congratulations to the CR Prairie FFA team that competed at the Iowa Cattlemen’s Beef Extravaganza Contest held in Ames, IA on Wednesday, December 7th. Team members earned 4th place rating and earned a $2,000 scholarship. Contests that chose to attend Iowa State will receive matching scholarship funds. The contest consisted of 10 stations: credit and finance, job interview, industry issues, nutrition, reproduction, health management, seed stock merchandising, keep cull heifers, beef management, and marketing. Contestants earn top team ratings in credit and finance and keep-cull heifers stations respectively.
