Congratulations to our Prairie Archery Club members who competed in the Iowa Archery in the Schools State Tournament March 5-6 in Des Moines.
Over 1800 archers from more than 120 Iowa schools participated in the tournament. March 5-6 in Des Moines. Congratulations to the 49 archers from Prairie who qualified and were selected to attend the state tournament. Throughout the season more than 4300 Iowa archers participated in tournaments running from December to February.

Bullseye tournament Results:
- High School Team – 3rd out of 28 and a $500 equipment grant
- Middle School Team – 7th out of 29
- Noah Reu – 7th out of 391
3D tournament Results:
- High School Team – 2nd out of 21 and a $1000 equipment grant
- Middle School Team – 8th out of 20
- Isaac Denning – 4th out of 174
- Karlee Hamilton – 7th out of 144
Additional individual awards were earned:
- Mackenzie Baustian earned a spot on the 3D All-State team
Placement in the state tournament has advanced the teams to the National Tournament which will be held in Louisville, Kentucky, in May.
