Members of the School Improvement Advisory Committee (SIAC), which includes staff, parents and community members met Monday, September 27 in the high school gallery rooms. Members of the SIAC committee provide community perspective and the implementation of, progress toward, and communication of the district strategic plan.

The outcomes of last night’s SIAC meeting included:

  • Understand current staff and student data
  • Connect student survey data to the district’s efforts with building relationships and belonging
  • Understand systemic approaches to measuring equitable access to post high school education/training and career readiness

“We appreciate our committee members and their commitment as we work towards our strategic plan goals,” said Tracy Schipper, Executive Director of Elementary Programs. “The work we do is important as we work to develop and understand equitable access for all educational initiatives.”

The School Improvement Advisory Committee meets three times a year.
