Over 50 Prairie High School students participated in the Construction Apprenticeship Career Fair which provided an excellent overview of apprenticeships with 12 different building and construction trades. Students heard from industry representatives about careers available and learned how to get involved with the Building and Construction Trades Apprenticeship Programs. 

This career exploration event hosted at the Plumbers & Pipefitters Training Center in conjunction with Kirkwood’s Workplace Learning Connection, was designed for students in Industrial Technology, Applied Mathematics, and ACE, Welding, and Advanced Manufacturing Academies who are specifically interested in Construction and Building Trades.
