All State Musicians

Congratulations to our Prairie musicians who were selected for the 2024 Iowa All-State Music Festival. A total of 45 Prairie High School students auditioned for the IHSMA All-State Music Festival on October 26. Nearly 4,000 students from throughout the state auditioned at one of six district sites. The students who were selected will perform in the 276-piece All-State Band, the 214-piece All-State Orchestra, or the 601-voice All-State Chorus.

Participants will rehearse with acclaimed guest conductors in Ames November 21-23, followed by the All-State Music Festival’s Final Concert in Hilton Coliseum on the campus of Iowa State University.
