Congratulations to Prairie High School senior Rithvika Sivaprakash who was named a Semifinalist for the 2024 National Merit Scholarship Competition. Approximately 1.3 million students from 21,000 high schools entered the National Merit Scholarship Competition. About 16,000 students, less than 1% of students entering the competition have been named semifinalists based on their scores on the qualifying exam.

Rithvika, as a Semifinalist, may advance to the Finalist level of the competition by meeting additional standards and fulfilling several requirements. Students will be awarded Finalist status in February 2024. Congratulations Rithvika!
