PACE

Primary Activities for Challenge and Enrichment, or PACE, is College Community School District’s program for students in grades 1-3.
To determine eligibility for this program, the elementary differentiation specialists look at achievement data, such as aReading and iReady scores, teacher consultations, PACE math assessments and other research based assessments to gain a picture of the abilities of the whole child.
At the end of each year, we gather and analyze data as students change and grow to establish groups for the upcoming year. We also gather additional data at the start of the year for some groups. Students in PACE groups may change from year to year based on this process.
The Elementary Differentiation Specialists will continue to collect data and will meet throughout the year to review students who demonstrate a need beyond the differentiation already occurring in classrooms.
