Significant progress continues across the Prairie Summit YMCA site as teams work both inside and out to move the project toward completion.

Exterior curtain wall and window systems are being installed by multiple crews around the building, steadily enclosing the structure ahead of winter weather. Inside, mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and fire sprinkler systems continue to take shape overhead. Of particular note are the large spiral duct systems now being installed, which will efficiently distribute air throughout the facility once operational.

On the site work side, the asphalt parking lot is complete, along with the extensions of Lonewillow Drive and Prairie Summit Drive, providing clear access routes around the building.

Black dirt has also been placed in several areas, allowing portions of the landscaping to be installed this fall, with the remaining plantings scheduled for spring. In the aquatics area, the Myrtha Pool system is nearing completion. Crews are now working within the deep end assembling the stainless-steel wall panels that form the base of this high-performance competition and recreation pool system.
