
Prairie Business Professionals of America (BPA) Seniors, Emery Smith and Corryn Rausch competed at the BPA National Leadership Conference in Orlando last week. This duo represented Prairie among 6,500 students from across the nation. Rausch and Smith attended Opening Ceremonies and State Assemblies, participated in Chapter Activities and Vendor Fairs, and competed as a team in Broadcast News.
Rausch also competed in an individual event, Administrative Support Research. Ending her tenure as BPA State President, Rausch placed fifth in the Nation in Administrative Support Research.
Prairie’s chapter began in 1998 with four members and has grown to one of the largest in the State with 70+ members. Advisors are Kim Hynek, Mary Gudenkauf and Caleb Rheingans.
