Last night, the College Community School District hosted a meeting of the School Improvement Advisory Committee (SIAC), a collaborative body comprised of parents, teachers, administrators, school board members, and community representatives. The SIAC Committee acts as a vital link between the school district and the community, providing valuable input and recommendations to help ensure the continuous improvement of educational opportunities and outcomes for all students.

The SIAC meeting focused on several key areas, including a review of Iowa Student Performance Profiles, an examination of Standards-Based Grading practices, and a special highlight of the 3DE program.

“The insights and perspectives shared by our SIAC members are invaluable,” said Alison West, Executive Director of Curriculum, Instruction and Assessment.  “Their thoughtful questions and feedback are essential as we continue to analyze data and refine our strategies to ensure student growth and achievement.”

The SIAC Committee meets twice annually, in the fall and spring.
