
An estimated 2,100 students from 135 schools in Iowa competed in the 19th National Archery in the Schools Program State Championship Tournament held at the Iowa State Fairgrounds this past weekend. The Prairie Archery Club had a very successful weekend with 56 Prairie student athletes participating.
Archers who placed in the top 10 within their division as individuals, receive a guaranteed spot to participate in one of the national tournaments. Participants may choose to travel to the Western Nationals held in Sandy, Utah, April 25-26, or the Eastern Nationals held in Louisville, Kentucky, May 8-10. Team qualification is based on achieving a minimum score through a tiered registration process.

High School: 1st Place (out of 34)
Middle School: 22nd Place (out of 27)
HS Boys: Cael Masbruch – 9th Place (out of 496)
3D:
High School: 2nd Place (out of 29)
Middle School: 19th Place (out of 25)
HS Boys: Tate Kuehn – 4th Place (out of 254)
