Congratulations to 2017 Prairie Alum Jessica Heims who was selected to the United States Paralympic team and is headed to Paris!. The selection is the 3rd for Heims, who will compete in the discus in the F64 division. Heims had her left leg amputated below the knee after being born with amniotic band syndrome.

A.J. FITZPATRICK
Congratulations to 2022 Prairie alum A.J. Fitzpatrick who is one of 12 selected to the U.S. Paralympic wheelchair basketball team and will represent Team USA in Paris this summer! A.J. became the youngest athlete to make the US Paralympic wheelchair basketball team. A.J. attends the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater which earned its 14th National Wheelchair Basketball Assoc. title.
