Prairie High School is excited to announce the hiring of Bruce Dall as the new Head Coach of the Girls’ Basketball program pending Board approval.  Dall is replacing Kenyon Murray who resigned at the end of the season.

Dall boasts an impressive record of success which included stops at Allison-Bristow, AGWSR, and most recently Dike-New Hartford.  In 2024 at Dike-New Hartford, Dall became just the second coach in Iowa history to lead a team to four consecutive State championships. During his 14-year tenure at Dike-New Hartford, his record was 269-53 which included 7 straight trips to state and the four State championships in a row. Prior to Dike New-Hartford, Dall led AGWSR to four State Tournament appearances including a State title in 2009. Before that, he led Allison-Bristow to a State tournament appearance in 2004.

“Coach Dall’s ability to develop winning teams and cultivate a culture of excellence makes him the ideal leader for our girls’ basketball program,” said Assistant Activities Director Andrew Davis who led the search. “He is dedicated to fostering a competitive and nurturing environment where student-athletes at all levels can excel both on and off the court.”

Beyond his impressive 543 career wins, Dall collected numerous accolades, including National Coach of the Year Finalist in 2024, Hall of Fame induction in 2020, and numerous Coach of the Year honors at the state, regional, and district levels.

“I am thrilled to be the next Girls’ Basketball Coach at Prairie High School,” said Dall. “I want to thank Assistant Athletic Director Andrew Davis and the rest of the administration for this opportunity. I am very impressed with Prairie’s staff and campus. I am eager to meet the players, roll up my sleeves, and get to work!”
