On Saturday & Sunday, we had 12 students represent PHS at the University of Iowa Honor Band in Iowa City.  They rehearsed all day Saturday with guest conductor Dustin Seifert (Director of Bands, Eastern New Mexico University), and then presented an outstanding concert on Sunday afternoon in the beautiful Voxman Music Building Concert Hall.  They also participated in masterclasses with the UI music faculty and heard performances by the Iowa Concert Band and Symphony Band.  The honor band was made up of over 100 students from over 30 different schools, including several All-State musicians.  Prairie HS student selected for this event were:
