As winter continues, the Prairie Summit YMCA is beginning to look and feel more like the vibrant community destination it is designed to be. With steady progress happening throughout the site, both exterior and interior work is bringing the building closer to its finished form.

On the exterior, crews are making strong progress on roofing and glass installation, giving the building more definition and a more complete appearance with each passing week. Inside, spaces are rapidly taking shape as painting, finishing, and preparation work continues in the gym, pool areas, and locker rooms. Office areas and flooring on both levels are also coming together, adding to the growing sense of scale and functionality throughout the facility.

In the weeks ahead, teams will continue advancing exterior glazing, interior finishes, and major work within the aquatics areas. With each milestone reached, the Prairie Summit YMCA moves closer to opening its doors as a welcoming space for fitness, recreation, and connection for the surrounding community.

The Prairie Summit YMCA is scheduled to open in late Spring 2026.
