The Prairie FFA Chapter is excited to host our Second Annual FFA Market along with an Ag Building Open House and fun children’s activities!
At the Market, students will showcase and sell products from their Supervised Agricultural Experience (SAE) projects, including farm-fresh eggs, baked goods, produce, sweet treats, and more. This year, we will also be selling our pumpkins and mums, available exclusively during the event. Also, don’t miss out on the new Cow Pie High coffee, which will be available to try or buy at this year’s market.
Families, friends, and community members are invited to tour our Ag Building, meet our students, and see the hands-on learning happening in our program.

The 23rd Annual Johnson County 4-H Pancake Breakfast is set for Sunday, September 28th, from 8 a.m. to noon in Building C on the Johnson County Fairgrounds.
Guests will be treated to a warm breakfast of pancakes, eggs, sausage, and more while connecting with friends, neighbors, and local supporters. In addition to the meal, attendees can participate in a silent auction featuring themed baskets and donated items from generous businesses and community members.
The event is a free-will donation. Proceeds directly benefit the Johnson County 4-H program, helping cover enrollment fees, support hands-on learning opportunities, and fund events for more than 500 youth and volunteers across the county.

Registration for the Let Me Run Boys Running Club is now open for the Fall 2025 season. Let Me Run runners will train 2 times a week (Tuesdays and Thursdays) from 2:45-4:00 starting on Tuesday 9/23, working towards the Miles in the Maize 5k on 11/8. The club lasts for 7 weeks, and registration fills up quickly.
