    Interested in joining the Prairie Fishing Team for the 2026 season? This informational meeting is open to new and returning anglers and families who want to learn more about the program and the upcoming season.

    🔥 New for 2026: Students outside the Prairie School District are now eligible to join!
    Open to students currently in grades 7–12

    We’ll cover program expectations, key dates, season opportunities, and answer questions. Parents are strongly encouraged to attend with their student(s) as this is an important opportunity to get informed and connected.

    We look forward to welcoming new anglers and growing the Prairie Fishing Team community!

    Information

    The Elks Hoop is a free throw contest funded by the National Elks foundation for children ages 8 to 13 (ages are determined as of April 1, 2026). 1st place winners of each category boys/girls ages 8-9, 10-11, and 12-13 will move onto the District contest scheduled for Sunday, January 11, 2026 at 1PM at Charles City Middle School Gym (if the 1st place winner is not available, it will move onto the 2nd place winner).
