2 levels of swim camps:
Competitive – improve competitive swimming skills including stroke technique, turns, and starts; mostly for middle and high school students
Developmental – all students welcome, mostly elementary and middle school students who want some more swimming experience outside of traditional swim lessons but aren’t quite ready for a competitive team, swimmers will learn in a team environment with multiple coaches -

Free, One-Day, hands-on experience for high school women who are interested in pursuing careers in medicine and engineering. Students will hear from women leaders in these fields and try it for themselves by performing mock orthopaedic surgeries and biomechanics experiments.

The Cedar Rapids Civil Rights Commission is hosting its 8th Annual Fair Housing Art Contest! Students in grades K-8 can submit a poster showing what fair housing means to them. Submissions must be received by 4pm on Friday, April 21. This contest is open to all Cedar Rapids area students in kindergarten through 12th grade, including students who are virtual learners, homeschooled, and those who are not U.S. citizens.
