    I wanted to let you know of an exciting STEM Day opportunity that is happening here in our community. This is the third annual Community STEM Day. We enjoyed all the response last year and hope for an even more participation this year. This event being hosted by SE Iowa STEM Council and will take place on Thursday July 17th from 9:00 AM until 2:00 PM it will be located at the Collins Aerospace campus. This event is STEM themed and will be geared towards kindergarteners through 12th graders. We will have market style booths set up outside with fun and engaging activities for students of all ages. We will have workshops such as robots, prostatic hands, drones, light-up cards, and lab tours available (these will require pre-registration, it will open the first week of June) please see the attached flyer for distribution. We will also have a large variety of Food Trucks, they will be serving breakfast, lunch, and snack foods for you to purchase. We hope to see you for this great event full of STEM learning fun.

    Shooting Camp is focused on the fundamental development and mastery of shooting techniques, form and mechanics necessary to become a more successful shooter. Campers will also learn the fundamental differences of shooting off the dribble, off the catch, and on the move. In this one day camp, each participant can expect to take approximately 500 game speed shots and learn several new drills to take home with them. Each camper will receive a t-shirt.
