Join a new timed 5K race at Bass Farms as we run along the crops to fundraise for the American Cancer Society! Time tracking will be provided by Fitness Sports. In-person check-in will be open at 7:30 am on September 20th at Bass Farms near the admission booth. Students are able to volunteer, please check our website for details.

The 23rd Annual Johnson County 4-H Pancake Breakfast is set for Sunday, September 28th, from 8 a.m. to noon in Building C on the Johnson County Fairgrounds.
Guests will be treated to a warm breakfast of pancakes, eggs, sausage, and more while connecting with friends, neighbors, and local supporters. In addition to the meal, attendees can participate in a silent auction featuring themed baskets and donated items from generous businesses and community members.
The event is a free-will donation. Proceeds directly benefit the Johnson County 4-H program, helping cover enrollment fees, support hands-on learning opportunities, and fund events for more than 500 youth and volunteers across the county.

Registration for the Let Me Run Boys Running Club is now open for the Fall 2025 season. Let Me Run runners will train 2 times a week (Tuesdays and Thursdays) from 2:45-4:00 starting on Tuesday 9/23, working towards the Miles in the Maize 5k on 11/8. The club lasts for 7 weeks, and registration fills up quickly.
